Alan Monasch is a Brooklyn-born, San-Francisco-Bay-Area-nurtured songmaker whose musical passions are connection and transcendence. Fortunate to begin a performing career relatively late in life as a keyboard- and guitar-playing singer/songwriter, Monasch crafts blues, ballads and rock/pop that use genre as one of many tools to deliver lyric-driven songs in which he explores the universes within, between and outside ourselves and invites us to connect and join with him in that exploration.
